I stayed for 2 nights in a Double or Twin Room while exploring the Westfjords Heritage Museum nearby. The room was spacious and had a lovely view, which made relaxing after a long day enjoyable. I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the bed, but it was a little frustrating having to check in at a different location, especially as it was not well-marked for first-time visitors. The breakfast served at the sister hotel was quite good and offered a nice variety.

The room I stayed in offered a fantastic view and was quite comfortable for my visit. However, check-in was confusing as it took place at a different hotel, and there were some amenities missing in the building like towels, requiring extra trips. Despite these hiccups, the breakfast served was good, which made for a pleasant start to the day.

Check-in location confusion.

missingWrote a review on 08 Octcommon areaample parkingcheck-in inconvenience
The common living area on the second floor provides a nice spot for socializing and relaxing, making it a pleasant place to unwind after a day. The hotel features ample parking behind the building, which adds a layer of convenience for guests.
The room size is quite small for families, making it challenging for four people to share while living out of suitcases. Additionally, the unreliable internet left two of the three reserved rooms without connection, which could be a significant inconvenience.

Decent stay with some quirks
We enjoyed a modern room with tasteful design during our one-night stay. Breakfast was impressive, served at the check-in location. However, be prepared for a check-in walk, and ensure your Wi-Fi equipment is handy in case of spotty service in some rooms.

It was just a fine choice for short visits in Isafjordur with outstanding value. The elevator system was a fun experience as you control it by pressing the floor you want. Make sure to check in sooner rather than later to avoid confusion.
